LAMI Revo Series

Index

Introducing the Revo Series from Lami Corporation, a Japanese manufacturer of professional laminators.

The features and applications of Revo-Flex, Revo-T14, Revo-Any, and Revo-Office are clearly organised, bringing together the information needed to find the model that best fits your workplace.

What is the LAMI Revo Series?

A fully automatic professional range that reduces steps
while keeping quality consistent

This series automates the entire process from sheet feeding through to laminating—removing the strain of manual feeding and eliminating variations in finish caused by the operator.

The high-end Revo-Flex model, in particular, features continuous feeding of up to 200 sheets and automatic four-side trimming. Mid-volume jobs that are demanding with manual feeding can be run unattended at the touch of a button. Because excess margins are slit off during processing, the separate trimming stage can be reduced. By eliminating human trimming errors, stable, uniform quality can be maintained even in high-mix production.

The Right Machine Depends on Your Production Scale

For example, if you run small batches, ease of installation and implementation is key. For medium-batch operations handling a wide product mix, the scope of automation becomes the priority. For high-volume sites that frequently deliver by roll or perform batch trimming, continuous processing will be central.

On this site, we introduce recommended fully automatic laminators by production scale. If you want to find the best machine for your business, please take a look.

LAMI Revo Series Lineup

Revo-Flex

The only model in the series equipped with automatic four-side trimming*1

Maximum width 320 mm (SRA3 standard)
Maximum processing speed 700 to 2,000 mm/min (variable)
Supported film thickness 38 μm / 80 μm / 100 μm / 125 μm / 150 μm
Warm-up About 5 minutes
Power supply CE:AC230V / 1,000W

Primary applications

With the option to switch between bordered and borderless finishes to suit the job, it can handle everything from durable signage to visually driven promotional materials.

By completing laminating and trimming in a single pass, it eliminates movement between processes and waiting time—supporting shorter lead times.
Manual trimming adjustments are also unnecessary, helping maintain productivity even when processing mixed items continuously. This makes it well suited to mid-volume work in print shops and output centres.

Revo-T14

The fastest-processing desktop model in the series*2

Maximum width 305 mm (A3 compatible)
Maximum processing speed 1,600 mm/min (fixed)
Supported film thickness 50μm / 80μm / 100μm / 125μm
Warm-up About 5 minutes
Power supply CE:AC230V / 1,000W

Primary applications

With an exceptional desktop-class speed of up to 1,600 mm/min, even meeting packs and manuals running to several hundred pages can be finished in a short time.

High-speed processing is as simple as loading a large stack of sheets and leaving it to run, helping reduce the time operators are tied up in in-house production at output centres and design offices.

Revo-Any

The most lightweight, space-saving model in the series*3

Maximum width 305 mm (A3 compatible)
Maximum processing speed 750 mm/min (variable: 450 / 600 / 750 mm/min)
Supported film thickness 50μm / 80μm / 100μm / 125μm
Warm-up About 7 minutes
Power supply CE:AC230V / 1,000W

Primary applications

Its lightweight, compact design makes it a strong fit for space-limited environments such as small offices, schools, and shop back rooms. It helps streamline day-to-day laminating tasks for menus, POPs, notices, and teaching materials.

With simple operation, it is also well suited to workplaces where laminating is handled without a dedicated operator.

Revo-Office

A standard office model offering an excellent balance of cost and performance

Maximum width 305 mm (A3 compatible)
Maximum processing speed 1,000 mm/min (fixed)
Supported film thickness 50μm / 80μm / 100μm / 125μm
Warm-up About 5 minutes
Power supply CE:AC230V / 1,000W

Primary applications

A standard model designed for offices where manual pouch laminating has become a burden.

It delivers sufficient processing speed with A3 capability while keeping installation costs down. From everyday document preparation to in-house production of promotional materials at franchise headquarters and store operations teams, it automates routine laminating tasks without strain.

Three Fully Automatic Laminators

When choosing a fully automatic laminator, it is important to base your decision on the volume you process in a day rather than the size of the main unit or equipment scale.
This is an introduction to fully automatic laminators that match the workload and operational style of different production scales.

Example facilities

Schools, hospitals, municipalities, etc.

Reasons for recommendation
Automates small-scale operations with fewer personnel
  • With the push of a button, automatically laminates 30 sheets of A4 paper in 15 minutes. Its size allows it to be placed on a desk, making it easy to install.
  • By fully automating the process from feeding to lamination, it enables the handling of jobs with low daily processing volumes in parallel with other operations.
The fact that it does not require dedicated operators or subsequent processes makes it suitable for small-scale sites.
Maximum processing speed 7.0 m/min
Maximum width 297 mm (A3 compatible)
Warm-up about 4 minutes
Processing type roll type, double-sided (with borders)
Voltage (CE) AC220 to 240V
Main unit dimensions W 580 mm / D 440 mm / H 250 mm

Example facilities

Output centers, design offices, franchise headquarters, etc.

Reasons for recommendation
High-mix, fast-turnaround jobs are efficient through process reduction
  • Completes trimming simultaneously with lamination, eliminating the need to move to subsequent processes or separate equipment.
Eliminates bottlenecks that tend to occur in on-demand printing and production sites.
  • High-precision automatic four-side trimming reduces trimming errors resulting from manual work, reducing film loss and the hassle of reprinting.
Even at sites with high-mix, small-lot production, it processes efficiently with consistent quality.

Example facilities

Printing factories, bookbinding lines, etc.

Reasons for recommendation
High-speed, continuous processing that can be integrated into mass-production lines
  • Uses a steel side plate with a thickness of 20 mm described as sturdy like a tank. This rigid structure physically eliminates vibrations even at high-speed operations of 60 m per minute, maintaining stable processing accuracy.
  • With a processing capacity of 60 m per minute, it can continuously handle large-format prints stably.
It demonstrates its true value when introduced as a part of a production line rather than as a standalone machine.
