FUJIPLA Full Auto Series

Index

This article introduces Hisago’s range of fully automatic laminators for professional use.

It breaks down the key features, typical applications, and processing capacity of each model. You will also find practical guidance on how to choose the right unit for your setup, whether you are in a print shop, retail environment, or office.

What is the FUJIPLA Full Auto Series?

Fully automatic laminators designed for post-press processing

The FUJIPLA Full Auto Series is a range of fully automatic laminators built for post-press processing, ideal for handling multi-product, small-lot print jobs produced on digital presses, laser printers, and similar output devices.

It supports a wide range of paper sizes, from business cards up to SRA3. By laminating and trimming in a single process, it enables flexible, on-demand finishing for tasks such as in-store POP production and in-house label creation.

The Right Machine Depends on Your Production Scale

For example, if you run small batches, ease of installation and implementation is key. For medium-batch operations handling a wide product mix, the scope of automation becomes the priority. For high-volume sites that frequently deliver by roll or perform batch trimming, continuous processing will be central.

On this site, we introduce recommended fully automatic laminators by production scale. If you want to find the best machine for your business, please take a look.

As an upgraded alternative to the ALM3230, this high-speed model delivers around 1.7x the processing speed, reaching up to 1,700 mm/min.
Even jobs such as flyers and handouts in the hundreds of sheets can be completed quickly, from feeding through lamination to trimming. It helps support time-sensitive educational operations and back-of-house work where you want to stay focused and get tasks done efficiently.

Supplier: Hisago

Founded in 1939, Hisago has assumed and integrated FUJIPLA, a long-established laminator brand.
By bringing together FUJIPLA’s laminate expertise, refined over many years, with Hisago’s know-how in office supplies, the company has created a stronger foundation for product development. As a manufacturer with deep knowledge of both paper and film, Hisago delivers highly reliable products designed to minimise issues from sheet feeding through to processing.

After-sales support and warranty

Warranty periods are set for each product, and repairs are handled in line with the applicable warranty terms and conditions.

During the warranty period, repair enquiries and quotation support are available (shipping costs are borne by the user). In principle, replacement parts are retained for five years after production ends. Even after that retention period, repairs will continue as long as parts stock remains available. This creates a support structure designed for long-term use.

*Warranty terms may vary by product. As they are not published on the official website, please contact the distributor directly if you require details.

Environmental and sustainability initiatives (SDGs)

In 2006, the company obtained FSC® Forest Certification (CoC certification) and has continued to offer certified paper and recycled paper products.

It also handles biodegradable lamination film and recycled PET products, and discloses information through compliance with the Act on Promoting Green Purchasing and through GPN listings. It is working to reduce environmental impact across both manufacturing and business operations, including converting lighting to LED, improving equipment energy efficiency, and setting CO₂ reduction targets.

Three Fully Automatic Laminators

When choosing a fully automatic laminator, it is important to base your decision on the volume you process in a day rather than the size of the main unit or equipment scale.
This is an introduction to fully automatic laminators that match the workload and operational style of different production scales.

Example facilities

Schools, hospitals, municipalities, etc.

Reasons for recommendation
Automates small-scale operations with fewer personnel
  • With the push of a button, automatically laminates 30 sheets of A4 paper in 15 minutes. Its size allows it to be placed on a desk, making it easy to install.
  • By fully automating the process from feeding to lamination, it enables the handling of jobs with low daily processing volumes in parallel with other operations.
The fact that it does not require dedicated operators or subsequent processes makes it suitable for small-scale sites.
Maximum processing speed 7.0 m/min
Maximum width 297 mm (A3 compatible)
Warm-up about 4 minutes
Processing type roll type, double-sided (with borders)
Voltage (CE) AC220 to 240V
Main unit dimensions W 580 mm / D 440 mm / H 250 mm

Reasons for recommendation
High-mix, fast-turnaround jobs are efficient through process reduction
  • Completes trimming simultaneously with lamination, eliminating the need to move to subsequent processes or separate equipment.
Eliminates bottlenecks that tend to occur in on-demand printing and production sites.
  • High-precision automatic four-side trimming reduces trimming errors resulting from manual work, reducing film loss and the hassle of reprinting.
Even at sites with high-mix, small-lot production, it processes efficiently with consistent quality.

Reasons for recommendation
High-speed, continuous processing that can be integrated into mass-production lines
  • Uses a steel side plate with a thickness of 20 mm described as sturdy like a tank. This rigid structure physically eliminates vibrations even at high-speed operations of 60 m per minute, maintaining stable processing accuracy.
  • With a processing capacity of 60 m per minute, it can continuously handle large-format prints stably.
It demonstrates its true value when introduced as a part of a production line rather than as a standalone machine.
